Jacob Mann is a Lighting Tecnhical Director at Pixar animation. He was formerly a Lighting Lead at Blue Sky Studios and DNEG animation. He currently lives in San Francisco with his wife, Brittany. He grew up in England until he was 18 and moved to Denmark to study classical drawing. Soon after, he ended up moving to the US to study animation at Ringling College of Art and Design. While at school he interned at Rankin Photography in London, Walt Disney Animation and at Blue Sky before joining Blue Sky fulltime. In 2017 his thesis film, Extinguished, was nominated for a student academy award. He has been working in feature animation since 2017 years and is excited to continue to make cool stuff.
